This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Conduct office visits with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and their staff to facilitate appropriate patient access to Pfizer products.
• Address reimbursement and coverage inquiries.
• Provide both in-person and virtual education regarding payer landscapes, coverage and formulary updates, payer policies, specialty pharmacy coverage, and patient support.
• Distribute Pfizer-approved materials related to coverage and reimbursement, including Patient Assistance Programs and billing and coding guides.
• Educate HCPs and office personnel on Hub financial assistance options, enrollment procedures, Hub HCP portals, and associated materials.
• Collaborate with Pfizer patient access and support programs to comprehend payer requirements for individual patients.
• Respond to prescription-status inquiries for patients engaged in Pfizer access and support programs.
• Utilize Pfizer’s designated case notes system in compliance with guidelines.
• Act as the subject matter expert on reimbursement and coverage matters impacting Pfizer products within designated regions.
• Enable appropriate patient access to prescribed Pfizer products.
• Provide internal Pfizer leadership with interpretive insights and local market information on reimbursement challenges.
• Communicate within compliance to various stakeholders and influence decisions without direct authority.
• Connect customer insights to resources addressing patient access challenges.
• Build trust through follow-up and understanding of the access journey.
• Engage in live customer interactions, necessitating approximately 50% travel.
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, typically in pharmaceutical sales and/or coding and reimbursement.
• Strong knowledge of Specialty Drug Reimbursement, Government Payment Systems, Provider/Carrier Networks, Co-Pay Assistance Programs, and policy dynamics across Pfizer Business Units/Brands.
• A B.S. or B.A. degree is mandatory.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience with strategic planning and successful execution of plans.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to traverse internal boundaries.
• Capacity to collaborate with multiple relevant stakeholders to achieve unique goals.
• Capability to function in a highly regulated environment while adhering to strict company compliance protocols.
• Demonstrated success in working with diverse customers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Training and experience in responsible business communication, both written and verbal.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, mentor and guide others, and oversee colleagues’ work.
• Must reside within the designated territory boundaries.
• Must be authorized for employment in the U.S. by any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Additional certification in coding and reimbursement is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge or certification in coding and billing is advantageous but not required.
