Field Reimbursement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee a designated territory to support reimbursement and patient services for a particular medication.

• Aid in Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, Claims Assistance, and Appeals processes.

• Educate physician offices regarding payer landscapes and available services through both remote interactions and in-person training sessions.

• Cultivate relationships with physician offices and manufacturer representatives.

• Collaborate with internal program hub support services to address customer requirements.

• Organize site visits, manufacturer training sessions, and educational training venues via telephone.

• Provide on-site and on-demand education, including Lunch and Learn sessions and Dinner presentations.

• Offer reimbursement support for case management, billing and coding updates, claims submission, specialty pharmacy, medical benefit interpretation, medical necessity, claims and appeals, copay assistance, and patient assistance programs.

• Work with case managers on average four times a month and manage ad hoc escalations.

• Schedule appointments and conduct outbound calls to targeted offices.

• Assist with backlog casework and daily office tasks.

• Interface with physicians and manufacturer representatives to gather and provide patient- and provider-specific information.

• Document all interactions and activities in the FRM CRM and report to management and clients.

• Monitor territory and program performance using the FRM CRM dashboard and quarterly reports.

• Research and compile provider/manufacturer representative information for the reimbursement database.

• Develop facility databases for new providers within the FRM CRM.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside within the Madison, WI, Minneapolis, MN, or Milwaukee, WI area.

• A 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare-related reimbursement is essential.

• Strong medical reimbursement experience, particularly with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy, is necessary.

• Experience in the healthcare industry, including insurance verification, prior authorizations, and/or claim adjudication within physician’s offices or clinics.

• Knowledge of Medicare and commercial insurance coverage is required.

• Ability to effectively communicate and document benefit investigation outcomes and provide regular status reports.

• Proven presentation skills and relevant experience are essential.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities with excellent organizational skills is necessary.

• Strong computer proficiency, including experience with PowerPoint and Web Meeting platforms.

• Excellent interpersonal skills are required.

• Strong written and oral communication capabilities are essential.

• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills are necessary.

• Must be willing to travel 80% of the time (4 days a week) via automobile or plane.

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record/MVR is required.
