This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on coding, coverage, and payment processes for Medicare and commercial payers, enhancing patient access through intricate problem-solving.
• Communicate effectively to articulate Inspire's reimbursement education, support, and resources to clients across various service locations, including administrators.
• Proactively and reactively address individual account and patient access challenges by collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders, including the internal reimbursement team and field sales colleagues.
• Respond to requests from clients and internal partners for customer site visits, Inspire program business reviews, and reimbursement support.
• Build and sustain customer relationships through reimbursement-related engagements and cross-functional collaborations with Sales, Marketing, Medical Education, Legal, and Compliance teams, among others.
• Implement access and reimbursement strategic priorities by working with business partners to identify and prioritize key accounts for effective reimbursement support alignment to meet objectives.
• Collaborate on the creation of reimbursement presentations for site visits, training sessions, client presentations, and other relevant meetings.
• Stay updated on the evolving market dynamics and industry trends that impact Inspire related to CMS and commercial payers.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage additional responsibilities as organizational needs arise.
• Foster a compliance culture that ensures all activities are fully aligned with company quality system procedures, applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• A Bachelor's degree in business, science, or healthcare administration is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in reimbursement/market access and/or proven success in handling complex insurance payer claims, denials, and appeals (both Medicare and commercial).
• Demonstrated expertise in coding, coverage, and payment for implantable medical devices across the healthcare landscape including healthcare providers, ambulatory surgical centers, and hospitals.
• Experience engaging directly with healthcare providers in various service settings and group educational contexts.
• Exceptional communication skills, both in-person and virtual, for effective interactions with customers, cross-functional partners, and internal reimbursement and prior authorization teams.
• Strong independent and team-oriented problem-solving abilities, along with diligent self-motivated follow-up.
• Direct experience in collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders and managing projects.
• Willingness to travel regularly, up to 25% of the time.
