This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Investigate and verify the circumstances surrounding complex homeowner claims.
• Assess coverage, damages, and the resolution of claims within established authority limits.
• Generate detailed damage estimates for intricate first-party homeowner claims.
• Perform on-site inspections in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas region.
• Develop thorough repair estimates utilizing Xactimate software.
• Negotiate settlements for claims and facilitate payment disbursements.
• Record all activities related to claims processing.
• Interpret various company policy types, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold fair claims practices.
• Act as a peer mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced adjusters.
• Support leadership in both formal training sessions and ad hoc training initiatives.
• Suggest improvements to existing processes.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.
• Proven experience as a Field Property Adjuster managing complex homeowner property claims.
• Extensive background in handling residential property claims.
• Proficient in writing and reviewing repair estimates using Xactimate.
• Experience in conducting on-site inspections.
• Familiarity with investigations related to first-party homeowner claims.
• Skills in coverage analysis and damage assessment.
• Experience in negotiating claim settlements and overseeing complex losses.
• Strong communication skills for customer interaction and relationship building.
• Prior field adjusting experience in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is preferred.
• Active licenses may include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or an applicable Appraiser License.
• Must terminate existing insurance appointments before onboarding and refrain from holding outside appointments during employment.
• Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender it when directed by the licensing team.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• A dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions, equipped with a suitable desk and seating is required.
• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
• $1,000 Licensing Sign-on Bonus if eligible.
• Provision of a laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, and mouse.
• Monthly connectivity reimbursement for eligible employees working from home.
