This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +8 more states.
• Oversee the company's field marketing initiatives, which encompass retail demonstrations, consumer events, breeder outreach, and dog show activities.
• Administer the retail demonstration program, ensuring consistent and high-quality execution.
• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, coach, and support demonstration representatives.
• Coordinate demonstration schedules with retail partners and the Sales team.
• Manage inventory, logistics, budgets, and reporting for demonstrations.
• Track KPIs, consumer engagement, product trials, sales impact, and ROI.
• Organize and implement expos, festivals, retail activations, community events, and brand experiences.
• Manage staffing for events, vendors, shipping, setup, budgets, and post-event reporting.
• Supervise field staff during events to ensure consistent brand representation.
• Assess event performance and suggest improvements for future initiatives.
• Create event playbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Lead efforts in recruiting, onboarding, communicating with, and managing relationships with breeders.
• Formulate strategies to enhance breeder participation and engagement.
• Establish connections with breeders, handlers, kennel clubs, and other influencers in the pet industry.
• Coordinate the company's involvement in dog shows and breeder events.
• Track program participation and its business impact.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, and Product teams.
• Oversee program budgets and monitor expenses.
• Generate reports and dashboards to communicate results to leadership.
• Maintain program schedules, documentation, training materials, and SOPs.
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Travel as necessary for demonstrations, events, dog shows, breeder outreach, and industry functions.
• Directly supervise demonstration representatives.
• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop members of the field team.
• Set performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback.
• Monitor attendance, scheduling, performance, and compliance.
• Assist with performance evaluations and employee relations in collaboration with management and Human Resources.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in field marketing, event management, program management, consumer marketing, retail marketing, or a related area.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or people-management role is essential.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong skills in project management, organization, and time management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience in budget management and reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Must reside in one of the approved markets—Seattle, Dallas, Austin, Houston, Denver, Chicago, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Charlotte, St. Louis, Orlando, New Jersey, or Phoenix—and be within reasonable distance to a major commercial airport.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25–50%, including weekends and occasional extended travel.
• Availability to work on weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours.
• Capability to stand, walk, and engage in retail and event activities for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and transport program materials and equipment as required.
• Experience in managing field teams, vendors, agencies, or brand ambassadors is preferred.
• Familiarity with KPIs, program reporting, and performance analysis is preferred.
• Experience with CRM or event management platforms is preferred.
• Background in the pet industry, CPG, retail marketing, or related consumer-facing roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of breeders, dog shows, kennel clubs, or companion animal organizations is preferred.
• Experience in experiential marketing, brand activations, or ambassador programs is preferred.
• Familiarity with managing retail demonstration programs or field sales teams is preferred.
