Field Operations Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform both scheduled and unscheduled quality assessments on data center projects.

• Record observations and monitor corrective measures until resolution.

• Lead and engage in site inspections with project stakeholders.

• Offer surge installation assistance during critical stages, scheduling recovery, or cutover.

• Manage onsite subcontractors while ensuring scope, workmanship, manpower, and safety compliance.

• Assist Field Foremen in organizing work and eliminating obstacles.

• Diagnose complex installation, integration, and commissioning challenges.

• Uphold company and client site standards, including access protocols, badging, MOP requirements, and procedures for live environments.

• Recognize and communicate recurring challenges and best practices across locations.

• Mentor and coach Field Foremen and technicians.

• Deliver site reports detailing quality, progress, risks, and resource requirements.

• Carry out additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.

• Travel approximately 80% to data center project locations, which may include overnight and multi-week stays.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent.

• Over 7 years of experience in security system installation.

• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role for field teams or managing subcontractors.

• Experience in data center or mission-critical construction is highly preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and network integration.

• Capability to read and interpret plans, drawings, submittals, and scopes of work.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to hold subcontractors accountable.

• Familiarity with jobsite safety practices; OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

• Possession of multiple access control certifications and/or a master’s license is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and mobile field reporting tools.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to comply with customer background checks and site access requirements.

• Capable of safely working at heights using ladders and aerial lifts.

• Able to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.

• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and performing overhead tasks.

• Must be able to travel by car and air, adhering to company driving standards.

• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, or varying shifts.
