This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed field team of typically 75 to 150 associates.
• Establish performance benchmarks and hold team members accountable for sales, in-store execution, and expected behaviors.
• Conduct behavioral assessments and observational visits within stores, providing structured feedback.
• Collaborate with HR to administer performance counseling and corrective actions.
• Maintain precise personnel records.
• Ensure that associates are equipped with the necessary tools, resources, product knowledge, and support to achieve program and client objectives.
• Work alongside Talent Acquisition and Onboarding to interview, select, and onboard field staff.
• Facilitate and reinforce field training while monitoring training completion and compliance with certification requirements.
• Enhance retention through effective onboarding, recognition, and development strategies, while tracking and addressing turnover rates.
• Oversee off-boarding processes in collaboration with HR and Payroll.
• Implement field strategies through territory design, scheduling, and management of coverage.
• Monitor daily scheduling, approve in-store time claims and expenses, and ensure accurate payroll submissions.
• Develop and refine field processes, best practices, program playbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Oversee reporting and compliance, including audits of in-store execution.
• Act as the field-level liaison for client management teams during weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews.
• Provide insights regarding staffing, turnover, retention, compliance, and potential development opportunities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Onboarding, HR, Payroll, Finance, and Reporting departments.
• Track field key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports for clients and internal leadership.
• Utilize scorecards and dashboards to identify trends, gaps, and coaching priorities.
• Manage field labor hours, overtime, travel, and expenses while adhering to budget constraints.
• Assist with labor forecasting and staffing models.
• Report to the Client Solutions Manager.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in territory, district, regional, or field operations management within retail, field marketing, or outsourced sales, overseeing a team spread across a large geographic area.
• Proven track record of successfully leading, coaching, and developing direct reports, including remote or dispersed field teams.
• Experience in managing multiple programs, clients, or competing priorities simultaneously is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with HR practices, including employee relations, performance management, and relevant employment laws.
• Experience in developing and managing cross-functional processes; project management experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and observational abilities.
• Excellent skills in relationship-building, verbal and written communication, and presentations.
• Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and follow-through; self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Proficient in Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, PowerPoint/Slides, and field scheduling and reporting platforms.
• Ability to quickly gain proficiency with client products; experience in consumer electronics or technology is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Must be available for flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to travel for in-store visits and program launches as necessary; travel is typically under 25%.
• Possession of a valid driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and reliable personal vehicle.
• Any DUI/DWI conviction within the past 36 months will disqualify the candidate immediately.
