Field Operations Coordinator – Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Assist in the daily execution of a large-scale field initiative

• Oversee and coordinate daily field operations throughout the project

• Manage communication and collaboration with dispersed field teams

• Organize team schedules, assignments, and operational tasks

• Monitor project advancement, attendance, task completion, and operational KPIs

• Gather, review, and maintain operational reports and project data

• Identify operational challenges and facilitate timely resolutions

• Address escalations and convey critical issues to project management

• Assist field team members with operational inquiries and daily obstacles

• Ensure adherence to project processes and operational requirements

• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution

• Maintain precise records, trackers, and documentation using Excel/Google Sheets

• Identify operational risks and proactively recommend solutions

• Adapt to evolving project requirements, priorities, and operational contexts

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in operations, project coordination, or project management

• Experience managing distributed field teams is highly preferred

• Strong skills in people management, organization, and problem-solving

• Ability to coordinate daily operations, schedules, reporting, and escalations

• Exceptional attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple priorities

• Comfortable functioning in a fast-paced and dynamic operational environment

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English

• Good knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets and operational reporting

• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of assigned tasks

• Availability for long-term collaboration throughout the project

• Experience in field operations, automotive projects, fleet operations, logistics, data collection, vehicle testing, field service operations, workforce management, large-scale distributed operations, or similar operational settings is strongly encouraged
