This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Overseeing operations and transport management in compliance with the German Passenger Transport Act (PBefG), the Regulation on the Professional Qualification of Road Passenger Transport Operators (PBZugV), and the Regulation on the Operation of Motor Vehicle Companies in Passenger Transport (BOKraft)

• Planning and supervising scheduled-route and on-demand services, which include timetables, dispatching, and strategies for managing replacements and disruptions

• Ensuring adherence to the PBefG, BOKraft, regulations concerning driving and rest times, as well as vehicle and driver standards

• Acting as the liaison for licensing authorities, public transport agencies, and subcontractors

• Managing transport service providers and subcontractors while conducting quality assessments

• Developing efficient, digital operational processes for documentation, handling complaints, and reporting

• Assisting with additional licensing requests in various regions

• Contributing to the establishment of a new transport operation from the inception stage

⛳️ Requirements

• Successfully completed the professional competence examination for road passenger transport (bus/scheduled services) as per Sections 3 and 4 of the PBZugV, or possess an equivalent recognized qualification under Sections 6 and 7 of the PBZugV

• Proven experience in operations or transport management, or dispatching within public transport, bus, or on-demand services

• Personal reliability demonstrated by a clean criminal record and Central Trade Register record

• An independent, digital, and pragmatic work ethic

• Proficient German language skills

• Willingness to operate at a startup pace
