Junior Operations Coordinator, German-Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete process of car transportation, from pickup through to delivery, involving dealers, compounds, drivers, and carriers.

• Monitor ongoing transports and address any delays or issues that arise.

• Handle customer inquiries in both English and German, ensuring customers are informed throughout the transport process.

• Ensure alignment among carriers, customers, and partners to facilitate seamless handovers.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of orders and transport data.

• Provide a premium and dependable experience in every customer interaction.

• Offer additional support to the broader operations team as needed.

• Collaborate closely with a seasoned Operations Coordinator while managing a portion of a busy workload.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in spoken and written English, along with fluency in German.

• Reside in Africa or Europe, within a two-hour time zone of CET.

• Available to work CET hours, divided between morning and afternoon shifts.

• Confident in phone communication and comfortable spending a significant part of the day on calls.

• Highly organized multitasker with a keen attention to detail who remains composed under pressure.

• Proactive and hands-on approach to work.

• High energy and diligent, thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Willingness to assume more responsibilities as the company expands.

• An English version of your CV is required.

• Preferred: experience in customer support or sales.

• Preferred: background in hands-on coordination roles such as travel and booking, administrative tasks, or client relations.
