Field Nurse Case Manager – Infirmier(ère) gestionnaire de cas

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete patient treatment process.

• Serve as the main contact for physicians who are enrolling patients in NavieGo managed programs.

• Develop and sustain relationships with designated clinics and physicians, including conducting site visits.

• Solicit any missing or additional information from physician offices, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers.

• Manage and coordinate prescription drug coverage for patients.

• Facilitate case management with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals.

• Organize documents, submissions, and necessary paperwork for insurance providers and public funding programs.

• Schedule clinic appointments and ensure timely drug deliveries.

• Foster relationships with patients and key healthcare providers.

• Implement optimal practices to enhance patient access to drug coverage.

• Oversee pharmacy processes once funding is secured.

• Leverage extensive knowledge of both public and private funding systems.

• Travel occasionally for on-site visits to clinics.

• Perform additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse designation with current provincial licensing is mandatory.

• At least 2 years of experience in customer/client service and healthcare reimbursement is required.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is essential.

• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or the insurance sector is advantageous.

• Strong skills in Microsoft and Google applications, including Google Apps, Word, and Excel.

• Professional, courteous, and efficient telephone communication skills.

• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and multitask to meet competing deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

• Proficient in resolving issues efficiently and effectively.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to work rotating Monday-to-Friday shifts to support various regions across Canada.
