Field Metrology Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Conduct calibration and maintenance of customer equipment, especially liquid handling devices.

• Establish metrology schedules and controls for specific equipment in partnership with clients.

• Oversee customer interventions and travel to client locations as needed.

• Manage working hours independently.

• Operate directly at customer sites to inspect, calibrate, and maintain measuring instruments in adherence to relevant standards.

• Develop trusted relationships with clients and ensure their satisfaction.

• Contribute to the growth of Eurofins Metrology’s metrology business.

⛳️ Requirements

• Initial training: at least a two- to three-year post-secondary qualification in quality management or as a laboratory technician.

• A valid driver's license is REQUIRED.

• Familiarity with metrology is preferred.

• Experience in volumetrics is advantageous.

• Highly self-sufficient.

• Detail-oriented and thorough.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to build customer relationships.

• Willingness to undergo several months of training and onboarding in Nantes, followed by field shadowing.

• Availability for travel primarily within the Grand Est and Hauts-de-France regions, with occasional travel elsewhere in France.

• Frequent overnight stays during the week.
