Field Metrology Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Conduct calibration and maintenance of client equipment, especially liquid-handling apparatus.

• Collaborate with clients to establish metrology schedules and inspection protocols for specific equipment.

• Oversee customer interventions and travel to client locations as needed.

• Manage work hours autonomously.

• Guarantee the reliability and compliance of clients’ measuring devices.

• Execute on-site tasks in accordance with applicable standards.

• Develop trusted relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction.

• Primarily travel within the Grand Est and Hauts-de-France regions, with occasional travel to other areas in France.

⛳️ Requirements

• Initial training: a minimum of a two- or three-year higher education qualification (Bac+2/Bac+3 equivalent) in quality or laboratory technician field.

• A valid driving licence is REQUIRED.

• Preferable knowledge of metrology.

• Experience in volumetric measurement is advantageous.

• Highly autonomous, detail-oriented, well-organized, and focused on customer service.

• Availability for several months of training and onboarding in Nantes, including field shadowing.

• Regular overnight travel during the week will be necessary.
