Field Merchandiser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement merchandising strategies across TA locations as a member of a traveling field team

• Carry out store resets, reflows, remodel support, cooler resets and refreshes, fixture modifications, planogram execution, and promotional activities

• Dismantle, relocate, assemble, rebuild, level, and position retail fixtures and shelving

• Remove and reinstall shelves, peg hooks, displays, racks, endcaps, and merchandising accessories

• Receive, stage, organize, and install fixtures and merchandising materials

• Execute cooler resets, reflows, and merchandising refreshes following approved layouts and planograms

• Adjust cooler shelves, product placements, facings, and merchandising arrangements

• Interpret and execute store layouts, floor plans, planograms, cooler layouts, and merchandising directives

• Verify completed sections against approved planograms and layouts and report any execution discrepancies

• Organize backrooms, storage areas, coolers, and inventory holding spaces

• Identify excess, obsolete, discontinued, damaged, or misplaced merchandise and follow proper disposition protocols

• Assist with deli and sales desk reflow, reorganization, and remerchandising efforts

• Restock and merchandise products after completing fixture, cooler, and planogram tasks

• Install shelf tags, price labels, promotional signage, displays, and endcap materials

• Collaborate with store management, teams, vendors, and project leadership

• Communicate project status, execution challenges, missing materials, inventory issues, and barriers

• Ensure stores are safe, clean, organized, and customer-ready

• Work approximately 50 hours per week with up to 100% travel, including weekly and overnight trips

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in retail, merchandising, store operations, construction/fixture installation, warehouse, or related fields is preferred

• Strong preference for experience in executing retail resets or working with planograms and store layouts

• Familiarity with cooler resets, inventory organization, or convenience/travel center merchandising is advantageous

• Ability to read and accurately follow detailed instructions, layouts, diagrams, and planograms

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to execution standards

• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks safely and consistently

• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a traveling team

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

• Flexibility to adapt quickly when field conditions deviate from plans and escalate decisions as necessary

• Valid driver's license and ability to meet applicable company travel requirements

• Capacity to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently

• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, reach, climb, work at various heights, and stand and walk for extended periods

• Willingness to work in refrigerated cooler environments

• Ability to travel by automobile and commercial airline

• Willingness to work at TA locations across the United States

• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, and occasional weekends as needed
