Field Merchandiser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement merchandising strategies across TA locations as a member of a traveling field team.

• Conduct store resets, reflows, remodel support, cooler resets and refreshes, fixture modifications, planogram execution, and promotional implementations.

• Dismantle, relocate, assemble, rebuild, level, and arrange retail fixtures and shelving.

• Take down and reinstall shelves, peg hooks, displays, racks, endcaps, and merchandising accessories.

• Execute cooler layouts and reorganize refrigerated products, shelving, facings, and item placement.

• Interpret and apply approved store layouts, floor plans, planograms, cooler layouts, and merchandising guidelines.

• Verify completed sections against authorized planograms and layouts.

• Manage backrooms, storage spaces, coolers, inventory, fixtures, shelving, signage, and merchandising materials.

• Support deli and sales desk reflow, reorganization, and re-merchandising efforts.

• Restock and merchandise items; install shelf tags, price labels, promotional displays, and endcap materials.

• Detect damaged, discontinued, excess, misplaced, or non-planogrammed inventory and adhere to disposition processes.

• Collaborate with store management, teams, vendors, and project leaders.

• Report on project progress, execution challenges, missing materials, inventory issues, and obstacles.

• Ensure each location is left clean, organized, safe, operationally functional, and ready for customer service.

• Comply with BP and TA safety policies, complete safety training, utilize PPE, and report unsafe conditions or injuries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in retail, merchandising, store operations, construction/fixture installation, warehouse, or related fields preferred.

• Strong preference for experience in retail resets or working with planograms and store layouts.

• Experience with cooler resets, inventory management, or convenience/travel center merchandising is advantageous.

• Capability to read and accurately interpret detailed instructions, layouts, diagrams, and planograms.

• Excellent attention to detail and dedication to execution standards.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely and consistently.

• Competence to work independently as well as part of a traveling team.

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Flexibility to adapt quickly when field conditions deviate from plans while escalating decisions as necessary.

• Valid driver's license and capacity to meet applicable company travel requirements.

• Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds independently.

• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, reach, climb, and work at varying heights, along with standing and walking for extended periods.

• Willingness to work in refrigerated cooler environments.

• Frequent weekly and overnight travel is required.

• Ability to travel by car and commercial airline.

• Willingness to work at TA locations across the United States.

• Scheduling flexibility, including early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, and occasional weekends.
