This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate with a selection of hotels as their primary marketing consultant, steering the marketing strategy.
• Conduct regular calls with hotels to discuss strategic planning, provide status updates, and perform comprehensive performance evaluations.
• Serve as a content authority, highlighting hotel offerings online and narrating distinct brand stories.
• Enhance visibility, secure bookings, and boost revenue through targeted digital marketing initiatives.
• Interpret intricate data and transform insights into actionable ideas.
• Oversee marketing budgets and assess performance against set objectives.
• Tailor marketing strategies for mainstream, premium, luxury, and lifestyle hotels.
• Collaborate closely with hotel leadership teams to gauge performance, pinpoint opportunities, and aid in marketing decisions.
• Assist hotels in utilizing IHG’s digital marketing tools to present their offerings, enhance visibility, and increase bookings.
• Report directly to the Senior Manager, Field Marketing Services Europe.
• Extensive experience in hospitality, travel, or another consumer-oriented sector.
• Capability to forge strong relationships and influence a diverse array of stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of digital and content marketing and their impact on commercial success.
• Proficient copywriting abilities and a solid grasp of branding, including experience working with brand guidelines.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills paired with a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
• Confidence in working with data and leveraging insights to inform decisions.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Practical experience in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns.
• Awareness that various brands and customer demographics necessitate tailored approaches.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the UK and potentially Europe for hotel visits and team meetings.
• Experience in the hotel sector, especially within luxury and lifestyle brands, or within a large global organization is preferred.
• Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
