
Field Liaison – Patient Access

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and nurture relationships as the primary contact with field teams for high-volume, key account manufacturers within a designated territory.
• Offer expertise on intricate patient, provider, clinical, and reimbursement matters.
• Represent UBC at conferences hosted by manufacturers.
• Collect, analyze, and present case trend data for Quarterly Business Reviews and other reports required by manufacturers.
• Develop robust relationships with partners in the field.
• Create processes and interpret reimbursement policies to address complex dispensing or referral challenges.
• Act as a subject matter expert on complicated cases for prescriber offices, manufacturer representatives, health plans, and patients.
• Identify strategies to prevent interruptions in drug therapy and explore patient affordability options.
• Support manufacturer field teams during program launch implementation and ongoing therapy utilization through educational and training resources.
• Provide support for Program Specific Processes and participate in special projects aimed at improving program workflows, reimbursement processes, and continuous utilization.
• Collect, analyze, and prepare data for QBRs, FDA requirements, special projects, and other reporting needs.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Prior experience in the PBM and/or healthcare sector is preferred.
• Proven experience in a team leadership role is preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in customer service resolution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Advanced understanding of medical insurance terminology.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong team-building abilities and the capacity to train fellow team members.
• Skills in research, analysis, report preparation, and documentation.
• Availability to work an 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, with start times varying based on requirements.
• Willingness to undergo training for 6 weeks from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
