Field Liaison, Patient Access

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Establishes and nurtures relationships as the primary point of contact with the field sales team for high-volume, key account manufacturers within a designated territory.

• Offers subject matter expert (SME) assistance for intricate patient, provider clinical, and reimbursement matters.

• Represents UBC at national sales conferences hosted by manufacturers and identifies potential revenue opportunities for accounts.

• Collects, analyzes, and presents adverse event trend data for Quarterly Business Reviews and other reports for manufacturers.

• Develops, clarifies, and executes reimbursement policies to address complex dispensing or referral challenges.

• Acts as a subject matter expert on complicated cases for physician offices, manufacturer representatives, health plans, and patients.

• Aids manufacturer field sales in launching programs and promoting ongoing therapy utilization through marketing, educational, and training resources.

• Provides support for Program Specific Plans on special initiatives to improve reimbursement, revenue, and utilization prospects.

• Prepares data for Quarterly Business Reviews, FDA mandates, special initiatives, and reports.

• Responds to incoming calls, evaluates caller needs, and delivers accurate solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 6 – 8 years of relevant professional experience.

• 0 – 2 years of experience in the field.

• Preferred three years of experience in healthcare.

• Demonstrated experience in a team lead role is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Advanced understanding of medical insurance terminology.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Effective team-building skills and the ability to mentor fellow team members.

• Skills in research, analysis, report preparation, and documentation.

• Shift schedule: 9am to 6pm EST.
