This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Independently schedule and perform preventive maintenance services.
• Be available for emergency calls 24/7 as needed.
• Diagnose critical power systems, determine root causes, and execute repairs to reduce downtime.
• Comply with job specifications and execute tasks with precision.
• Prioritize preventive maintenance to achieve Zero Defects.
• Educate customers on the operation of equipment and maintain effective communication.
• Safeguard and maintain company tools and equipment.
• Assist in sales efforts by recommending essential power equipment and related products.
• Accurately submit all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior team members.
• Participate in product-specific training sessions.
• Aid in equipment commissioning.
• Oversee battery installation, removal, and disposal processes.
• A minimum of an Associate's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Technology or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in servicing, troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining critical power or similar equipment.
• Eagerness to acquire technical skills through various training methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Capability to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients.
• Self-driven and capable of managing one's workload independently.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Capacity to regularly lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• A valid driver's license with auto insurance is mandatory.
• Current vehicle insurance and licenses are required.
• Completion of factory training or equivalent in the repair and maintenance of various leading UPS brands is preferred.
• Prior experience in critical power field service is preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical/electronic testing equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and schematics is preferred.
• Understanding of Ohm's law and electronic theory is preferred.
• Skill in assessing equipment operating conditions is preferred.
• Achieve a healthy work-life balance.
• Participate in product-specific training sessions.
• Gain guidance and training opportunities for less experienced team members.
