Field Engineer Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Complete health and safety training.

• Acquire foundational knowledge of FieldCore Turbine and Generator products under the mentorship of seasoned Field supervisors, Engineers, and TFAs.

• Support engineering projects of various sizes and complexities under close supervision.

• Enhance skills using FieldCore's web-based applications.

• Acquire basic technical abilities and engage in site work with direct guidance and supervision.

• Learn about project management, scheduling, resource allocation, and cost control to assist the Field Team during significant overhauls.

• Aid the Service Manager and Field Engineers in job planning, expediting shop repair activities, and facilitating essential parts orders.

• Support the Service Manager with research and simplification initiatives.

• Offer remote and on-site assistance and communication to the FieldCore team.

• Provide general technical and administrative support to the Operations team.

• Handle customer inquiries via phone.

• Expedite urgent purchasing and shipping for overhaul projects.

• Coordinate activities and logistics.

• Undertake additional responsibilities that align with FieldCore’s vision and organizational values.

⛳️ Requirements

• Students pursuing a degree in Engineering (Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Software, Systems).

• Open to current students who will resume in-class studies after the completion of the work term.

• Exceptional communication, planning, technical, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong commitment to environmental health and safety.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and assist colleagues.
