Field Engineer Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Complete health and safety training.

• Acquire knowledge of FieldCore Turbine and Generator products under the guidance of experienced Field supervisors, Engineers, and TFAs.

• Support engineering projects of various sizes and scopes while under direct supervision.

• Enhance skills in FieldCore web-based applications.

• Gain basic technical skills and conduct site work with immediate instruction and oversight.

• Learn about project management, scheduling, resource allocation, and cost control to assist the Field Team during significant overhauls.

• Help Service Managers and Field Engineers with job planning, shop repair tasks, and critical parts orders.

• Assist the Service Manager with research and simplification initiatives.

• Offer remote and on-site support and communication to the FieldCore team.

• Provide general technical and administrative support to the Operations team.

• Handle customer inquiries.

• Expedite urgent purchasing and shipping for overhaul projects.

• Organize activities and logistics.

• Perform additional tasks that align with FieldCore’s vision and organizational values.

• Students pursuing a degree in Engineering (Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Software, Systems).

• Open to current students who plan to return to their academic studies following the work term.

• Outstanding communication, planning, technical, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong commitment to environmental health and safety.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage effectively with colleagues.

• Proficient in creative thinking and rapid problem-solving.

• Innovative mindset.

• Team-oriented.

• Self-driven.

• Willingness and capability to work during holidays, weekends, and overtime as required by field assignments.
