Field Engineer – Highly Protected Risk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct on-site evaluations and risk assessments for commercial properties.

• Analyze and provide reports on fire safety systems, potential loss, and overall property conditions.

• Leverage proprietary technology to collect data and complete risk assessments efficiently.

• Engage directly with clients to help them comprehend risks and effectively manage their insurance costs.

• Offer expert advice on enhancing property risk profiles and strategies for risk reduction.

• Operate autonomously, managing your own schedule while contributing to a collaborative remote team environment.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and standards related to risk management and property engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in property risk management, particularly in highly protected risk (HPR) evaluations or related positions.

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.

• Preferred experience in fire protection systems and strategies for risk mitigation.

• Certification as a Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) or a Professional Engineer (PE) is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to offer practical recommendations for reducing risks.

• Self-driven with the capability to work independently and juggle multiple projects.

• Openness to travel for on-site evaluations as required.
