Field Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Install diagnostic imaging equipment at client locations.

• Assist with or conduct preventive maintenance and calibrations in accordance with equipment specifications and standards.

• Engage with customers to identify their needs and issues while fostering excellent customer relations.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and service a variety of products across one or more modalities.

• Address technical and application inquiries for both internal and external customers.

• Escalate inquiries or issues to the appropriate personnel when necessary.

• Enhance product knowledge and skills through formal training and on-the-job experiences.

• Deliver timely and accurate service reports, part orders, part returns, timecards, expense reports, and other required documentation.

• Respond promptly to colleagues in Service Support, Finance, Sales, and various other departments.

• Maintain regular communication with the manager to provide updates or recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A two-year post-secondary degree or certificate in electronic technology or equivalent training.

• At least three years of work experience, preferably in the digital imaging sector or within a specific modality.

• Prior experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment is preferred.

• Experience with CT is an advantage.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products.

• Proven ability to utilize hand and power tools effectively.

• Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

• Must be a self-motivated individual capable of working independently as well as within a team.

• Willingness to travel overnight as required.

• Availability for on-call duties during off-hours.

• Capability to perform specialized or technical tasks despite unclear guidelines.

• Strong analytical judgment where policies and procedures may not be well-defined.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently.

• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
