This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conduct timely and precise preventative maintenance on CT and other designated medical equipment at hospitals or healthcare facilities.
• Diagnose issues and execute basic repair services on customer equipment.
• Collaborate with seasoned field engineers on equipment installations and intricate repairs.
• Engage with team members to identify suitable solutions for customers.
• Foster customer relationships while ensuring prompt communication, resolution, and follow-up.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, hospital protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Record all tasks completed daily, including debriefing and parts ordering.
• Propose value-added services to customers and/or the sales team.
• Utilize the GE HealthCare escalation process and work with regional and national support on corrective action strategies.
• Provide support to experienced Field Engineers both onsite and remotely while honing complex repair skills.
• Enhance customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
• Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent military training and 2 years of experience in servicing electronic equipment.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma/GED with 4 years of pertinent experience.
• Or completion of the GE HealthCare Apprentice Program.
• A valid driver's license must be maintained.
• Proficient in web applications and Microsoft Suite products.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Availability to work after hours and/or on a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
• Capability to manage multiple competing priorities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. without assistance.
• Proficiency in frequently bending, stooping, twisting, climbing, crouching/squatting, kneeling/crawling, sitting, and standing for extended periods.
• Capacity to reach at, above, and below shoulder level; flex/extend the neck; and exhibit good hand and finger dexterity.
