This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Provide outstanding educational experiences, collaborate with clients, and assist sales partners in expanding and converting the Salon & School sector.
• Conduct educational classes that promote the use of Wella brands within DSO and BSG channels, aligned with channel KPIs.
• Mentor a group of independent stylist contractors while delivering purposeful educational seminars.
• Collaborate with customers and sales teams to develop education strategies, including conversions, classes, and tailored events.
• Support various sales territories in conjunction with Account Managers and Distributor Sales Consultants.
• Represent Education both internally and externally, establishing credibility within the hairdressing community.
• Organize and plan educational initiatives linked to sales objectives, Education Scorecards, deliverables, and the brand initiative calendar.
• Contract and oversee a roster of Independent Stylist Contractors.
• Manage budgets for seminars, travel and entertainment, office supplies, and samples.
• Assist Independent Contractors in meeting current and future business demands.
• Implement educational seminars and programs, setting expectations for the Wella Professional Education team.
• Conduct engaging seminars both online and in-person for licensed beauty professionals, covering foundational product knowledge and various techniques.
• Develop internal and external networks while maintaining relationships with education, customer, and sales teams.
• Create actionable plans and ensure follow-through to achieve outstanding results.
• Keep abreast of trends, insights, and challenges within the professional beauty hair industry.
• Participate in regional and company training for ongoing craft and career advancement.
• A valid cosmetology license.
• At least 5 years of hairdressing experience working directly with clients.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in facilitation, teaching, or presentations.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and occasionally extended hours.
• Capability to transport educational presentation materials, sample cases, etc.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Beauty and Hair Design industry and local market conditions.
• Commercial acumen to guide salon and school owners/managers on business strategies and development.
• Strong awareness of industry competitors, particularly in color.
• Structured, solution-oriented approach with excellent analytical and strategic skills.
• Demonstrates leadership by example, showing initiative and proactivity.
• Extensive understanding of both Online and Offline Education.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current beauty and fashion trends.
• Proficient in English (both written and verbal); bilingual in Spanish for specific markets preferred.
• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Apple (iPad/apps).
• Familiar with relevant digital and social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
• Willingness to travel at least 60% of the time, including overnight stays.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to travel long distances.
• Ability to fly for training and sales meetings at least 1–2 times per year.
