This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead the pre-sales process and act as a strategic advisor to customers.
• Create AI Data Cloud architectures utilizing the Snowflake technology stack.
• Facilitate customer workshops and hands-on labs in collaboration with Snowflake sales teams.
• Spearhead pre-sales initiatives to secure Snowflake opportunities.
• Develop relevant solutions and accelerators alongside internal practice and solutions teams.
• Define and validate technical blueprints for cloud data warehouses, clean room infrastructure, embedded compute, and AI architecture.
• Suggest solution strategies, prepare high-level effort estimates, and lead client presentations.
• Identify and mitigate critical-path blockers in areas such as infrastructure, data architecture, integrations, and identity resolution.
• Assess technical proposals against real-world scalability and operational complexity.
• Connect engineering and data science teams with senior technical stakeholders from clients.
• Propel go-to-market strategies in collaboration with the Practices and Solutions team.
• Engage in leadership discussions alongside Blend, Snowflake, and client executives.
• Spot gaps and opportunities to enhance customer value through Snowflake solutions.
• Convert technical capabilities into commercially compelling differentiators.
• Ensure that technical roadmaps are aligned with go-to-market solutions and accelerators.
• Act as the technical voice in initial discussions with clients and partners.
• Report directly to Blend’s VP of Practice and Solutions and the Global Snowflake Practice Head.
• Over 15 years of experience in data or platform architecture.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with systems at a significant scale.
• Extensive experience with Snowflake and AWS or other cloud service providers, or a similar enterprise data platform.
• Proven ability to lead technical strategies in high-pressure client or executive settings.
• Experience in consulting delivery or embedded partner roles.
• Expertise in migration or modernization processes within Snowflake.
• Familiarity with building Data Mesh architecture using Snowflake's data-sharing capabilities.
• Experience collaborating with Snowflake sales and solutions teams.
• Knowledge of enterprise data platforms, real-time and batch data architecture, and ML/AI systems and embeddings infrastructure.
• Experience with Cortex AI, CoWork, and Snowflake AI architecture.
• Proficient in Snowflake-native data integration capabilities.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Fivetran, dbt, or other relevant third-party solutions.
• Preferred: Knowledge of clean room or federated data architecture, feature store, identity resolution, data monetization, AWS/cloud infrastructure design, Snowflake certification, and launching solutions on Snowflake Marketplace.
• Must be comfortable engaging with CTO-level stakeholders and executives.
• Must be able to discuss architectural trade-offs in relation to business impact.
• Must be adept at guiding high-stakes clients through their Snowflake journey.
