This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Perform on-site and face-to-face investigations.
• Assess compensability.
• Set reserves.
• Record decision-making processes.
• Distribute benefit payments.
• Notify the State administrative authority.
• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and legal representatives.
• Ensure that suitable benefits are provided in accordance with relevant Workers’ Compensation Laws.
• Travel frequently within a specified territory; overnight travel is infrequently required.
• Prior experience in Workers Compensation Claims is highly desirable.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional business experience is acceptable.
• A state license to manage Workers' Compensation claims is required if applicable.
• Strong professional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• A world-class customer service attitude is necessary.
• Capability to learn and utilize proprietary software along with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work independently.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• An acceptable driving record is necessary.
• An appropriate vehicle is required.
• Frequent travel within a designated territory is mandatory.
• Pre-employment screening is required, including a criminal background check and a 10-panel drug test.
• Auto reimbursement program.
• Reimbursement for cell phone and internet expenses.
• Target case load of 60 claims.
• Pre-employment screening includes a criminal background check, a 10-panel drug test, and, if applicable, a review of the motor vehicle report.
