Field Case Manager – Workers' Comp Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Perform on-site and face-to-face investigations.

• Assess the compensability of claims.

• Set up reserves.

• Record decision-making processes.

• Disburse benefit payments.

• Notify the State administrative authority as required.

• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and legal advisors.

• Ensure that appropriate benefits are provided in compliance with relevant Workers’ Compensation Laws.

• Manage a target caseload of 60 claims.

• Travel frequently within a specified territory, with infrequent overnight stays.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Workers Compensation Claims is mandatory.

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional business experience is acceptable.

• State licensure for handling Workers’ Compensation claims is required if applicable.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

• A top-notch customer service mindset is essential.

• Capability to learn and utilize proprietary software along with Microsoft Office applications.

• Must be self-motivated.

• A valid driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record, and a reliable vehicle are required.

• Regular travel within a designated territory is a requirement.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and a 10-panel drug test is required; motor vehicle report review may be applicable.

• Driving roles are considered safety-sensitive positions.
