This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Perform on-site and face-to-face investigations
• Assess the compensability of claims
• Set reserves for claims
• Record decision-making processes
• Disburse benefit payments
• Notify the State administrative authority as necessary
• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical experts, and legal professionals
• Ensure that appropriate benefits are delivered in accordance with relevant Workers’ Compensation Laws
• Travel regularly within an assigned territory, with infrequent overnight stays
• Experience with Pennsylvania workers compensation claims is highly desirable
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional business experience is acceptable
• State licensure for managing Workers' Compensation claims is required if applicable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
• A world-class customer service mindset is required
• Proficiency in learning and utilizing proprietary software and Microsoft Office applications
• Must possess the ability to work independently
• A valid driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and a suitable vehicle are necessary
• Candidates must reside within the territory or be open to relocating
• Successful completion of pre-employment assessments, including a criminal background check and a 10-panel drug screening is mandatory
• Review of motor vehicle records, if applicable
• Regular travel within a designated territory is necessary
• Automobile reimbursement program
• Reimbursement for mobile phone and internet expenses
• Salaried position
• Target case load of 60 claims
