Field Case Manager – Workers' Comp Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Perform on-site and face-to-face investigations.

• Assess the compensability of workers' compensation claims.

• Set reserves for claims.

• Record decision-making processes.

• Process benefit payments.

• Notify the State administrative authority as required.

• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and legal experts.

• Ensure the provision of suitable benefits in accordance with relevant Workers’ Compensation Laws.

• Travel frequently within a specified territory, with occasional overnight trips.

• Complete pre-employment evaluations, including a criminal background check, a 10-panel drug test, and an applicable motor vehicle report review.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior claims experience is strongly preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional business experience is acceptable.

• State licensure to manage Workers' Compensation claims if necessary.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• A world-class customer service mindset is required.

• Capability to learn and utilize proprietary software as well as Microsoft Office applications.

• Must be self-motivated.

• A valid driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and an acceptable vehicle are required.

• Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the designated territory for this role.

• Must complete pre-employment evaluations, including a criminal background check and a 10-panel drug test; a motor vehicle report review may also be required.

• Positions involving driving are considered safety-sensitive.
