Field Case Manager – Workers' Comp Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Perform in-person and on-site investigations

• Assess the compensability of claims

• Set reserves for claims

• Record decision-making processes

• Process benefit payments

• Notify the State administrative authority as required

• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and legal experts

• Ensure that suitable benefits are provided in accordance with relevant Workers' Compensation laws

• Manage a target caseload of 60 claims

• Travel frequently within an assigned territory, with occasional overnight travel

• Work remotely

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior claims experience is highly preferred

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional business experience is acceptable

• State licensing for handling Workers' Compensation claims, if necessary

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required

• A world-class customer service attitude is essential

• Capability to learn and utilize proprietary software along with Microsoft Office products

• Self-directed work style is necessary

• A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and a suitable vehicle are required

• Frequent travel within the assigned territory is mandatory

• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the territory covered by this position

• Completion of pre-employment screening is required, including a criminal background check, a 10-panel drug test, and, if applicable, a review of the motor vehicle report

• This is a safety-sensitive position due to driving responsibilities for the company
