Field Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Interact directly with injured workers and medical professionals

• Promote advocacy, progressive medical treatment, and timely return-to-work initiatives

• Serve as a liaison, ensuring effective communication among all parties involved

• Oversee complex medical conditions, treatment plans, and recovery from illnesses or injuries

• Act as a patient advocate to assist, guide, and coordinate care for injured workers, their families, and caregivers

• Support injured workers in achieving recovery and independence through advocacy, communication, education, resource identification, and service facilitation

• Identify suitable providers and facilities across the continuum of services

• Ensure timely and cost-effective use of resources to deliver optimal value for clients and reimbursement sources

• Travel frequently while operating from a home-based office

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the Augusta, GA area

• RN licensure is preferred

• A Bachelor’s degree in a health or human services field is required

• One of the following certifications is required: CCM, CDMS, or CRC

• A valid driver’s license is necessary

• High-speed internet is required

• Employment may depend on the successful completion of a job-related motor vehicle record (MVR) check

• Knowledge and experience in medical/clinical or rehabilitation settings

• Capability to manage work-related stress

• Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently

• Capacity to meet deadlines

• Proficient keyboarding skills

• Willingness to travel as needed
