This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Conduct independent investigations of casualty and relevant line-of-business claims.
• Carry out thorough assessments of vehicle damage and interpret insurance policies to ascertain coverage.
• Draft estimates and assist customers through the repair or total loss procedures.
• Engage in face-to-face meetings, virtual inspections, and written correspondence.
• Meet clients at their residences, repair facilities, and towing locations.
• Interact with customers via telephone, email, and video conferencing.
• Provide options for customer communication preferences and keep them informed on claim progress.
• Assess and negotiate claim settlements in collaboration with customers, vendors, third-party insurers, and claimants.
• Utilize estimation tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to facilitate claims resolution.
• Ensure the maintenance of precise and timely claim records within the claims management system.
• Work in partnership with body shops and service providers.
• Attend two weeks of mandatory in-person training at the Dallas, TX office if necessary.
• Carry out additional related responsibilities as assigned.
• Minimum of 18 months of experience in auto collision estimating utilizing CCC One.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong proficiency in both written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and comprehensive estimates.
• Comfortable using technology and various platforms for claims processing.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a willingness to travel.
• Candidates must reside in Springfield, VA.
• Required licenses must be acquired within 60 days of hiring; maintaining all licensing, continuing education, and state-specific renewal obligations is essential.
• Submission to a background check is mandatory.
• This position is not open to residents of Washington, California, Alaska, and Hawaii.
