Field Application Specialist – Cell and Bioprocessing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Serve as the scientific representative during customer interactions.

• Merge technical expertise with commercial understanding.

• Enhance strategic partnerships with customers.

• Propel the adoption of products.

• Convert customer requirements into avenues for innovation.

• Collaboratively foster account growth alongside Account Managers.

• Develop a network within customer organizations.

• Oversee customer product testing, including the design of testing protocols, ongoing communication with clients, and troubleshooting.

• Support existing customers with regulatory documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master’s or PhD in biology, cell biology, or a related field is preferred.

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Field Application Specialist is preferred, ideally in a commercial role or a similar position within a Pharma/Pharma tech company.

• Over 5 years of experience with cell culture media and bioprocessing, including possible lab experience.

• High integrity is essential for a customer-facing role.

• Proficient in troubleshooting.

• Capable of analyzing and resolving challenges.
