This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.
• Assist customers in overcoming test and measurement challenges while contributing to business expansion in Asia.
• Support key clients in the optical communication sector, including developers of Photonic ICs, optical transceiver firms, foundries, test facilities, OSATs, and equipment developers.
• Deliver comprehensive technical assistance for intricate Photonic IC ATE testing configurations during validation, pre-production, and high-volume manufacturing phases.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and Business Development Manager to enhance business prospects and meet or surpass sales objectives.
• Analyze customer needs, identify the best solutions, and offer consultative services.
• Refine test workflows, troubleshoot issues, and supply examples of automation.
• Develop technical proposals featuring detailed test setups and value propositions.
• Construct complex testing arrangements and perform experiments to produce customer proof-point data and test outcomes.
• Render first- and second-level technical support.
• Conduct product demonstrations and assist with on-site technical assessments.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and support.
• Promote both existing and new products through in-person engagements, trade shows, and online sales presentations.
• Sustain positive, long-term relationships with key clients.
• Engage closely with customers as an industry peer and consultant on R&D, validation/characterization, and high-volume manufacturing test challenges.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a technical support and/or development role related to ATE and Photonics Testing.
• Extensive experience with optical testing throughout the product lifecycle: R&D, DVT, and HVM.
• Proficiency with Photonics and HSIO test and measurement tools and solutions.
• Familiarity with sampling oscilloscopes, BERTs, tunable lasers, optical spectrum analyzers, and measurements related to wavelength, polarization dependency, RIN, and LIV-curves.
• Expertise in software automation using API, SCPI, gRPC, and PXIe.
• Knowledge of common programming languages such as Python and C++.
• Profound expertise in optimizing test workflows, test duration, and throughput.
• Understanding of the optical communication landscape in Asia.
• Strong skills in technical problem-solving related to Photonics and HSIO testing.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Capability to cultivate strong customer relationships and convey information with clarity and technical insight.
• Ambition to act as a trusted advisor to clients and regularly interact with key technical contacts.
• Comfortable working independently while establishing and reaching ambitious targets.
• Outstanding organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Physics (Photonics) or Electrical Engineering is required.
