This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +5 more states.
β’ Spearhead the proactive identification and resolution of obstacles to patient access regarding payer coverage, prior authorizations, step edits, copay assistance, and specialty pharmacy navigation.
β’ Collaborate with healthcare provider offices on benefits verification, payer documentation requirements, and resources for patient support.
β’ Examine HUB, specialty pharmacy, and payer data to pinpoint access gaps and implement compliant process enhancements or education initiatives.
β’ Offer sanctioned access education to internal stakeholders, aligned with compliance-approved materials.
β’ Work alongside Market Access, Patient Services, and HUB vendors to enhance pull-through efficiency and tackle recurring access challenges.
β’ Aid in launch readiness and lifecycle management by identifying access hurdles and executing field-based mitigation strategies.
β’ Track access performance metrics and convert insights into actionable plans.
β’ Oversee urgent reimbursement and payer case escalations through cross-functional coordination.
β’ Monitor regional payer landscapes and recognize policy or coverage modifications impacting access.
β’ Provide field insights to shape access strategies, optimize HUB operations, and enhance patient support programs.
β’ Keep compliant records of case activities, interventions, and outcomes within CRM systems.
β’ Connect access strategies with field execution to ensure practical effectiveness of strategies.
β’ Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, healthcare administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred but not mandatory).
β’ Over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical field reimbursement, patient access services, HUB services, specialty pharmacy, or market access support roles.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of payer dynamics, reimbursement pathways, prior authorization processes, and specialty pharmacy distribution models.
β’ Experience with HUB systems, case management platforms, and specialty pharmacy data feeds.
β’ Proven capability to resolve intricate access and reimbursement cases in a field-based or customer-facing position.
β’ In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical access data sources and processes, including claims, benefit verification, specialty pharmacy reporting, and payer policy tracking.
β’ Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced commercial environment characterized by rapid launches or high growth, managing multiple priorities.
