This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.
β’ Proactively identify and resolve barriers to patient access related to payer coverage, prior authorization, step edits, copay assistance, and specialty pharmacy routing.
β’ Collaborate with healthcare provider (HCP) offices to facilitate benefits verification and educate them on payer documentation requirements and patient support resources.
β’ Analyze data from HUB, specialty pharmacy, and payers to pinpoint systemic access gaps and implement process improvements or educational initiatives that adhere to compliance standards.
β’ Deliver access education to internal stakeholders using materials that are approved for compliance.
β’ Work alongside Market Access, Patient Services, and HUB vendors to enhance pull-through efficiency and tackle persistent access challenges.
β’ Contribute to launch readiness and lifecycle management by identifying access obstacles and executing field-based strategies for mitigation.
β’ Track access performance metrics and convert insights into actionable plans.
β’ Handle high-priority case escalations that involve complex reimbursement or payer issues.
β’ Monitor the regional payer landscape.
β’ Provide structured field insights to cross-functional partners.
β’ Maintain compliant records of case activities, interventions, and outcomes in CRM systems.
β’ Ensure that access strategies are effectively executed in the field.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in business, life sciences, healthcare administration, or a related field (an advanced degree is preferred but not mandatory).
β’ Over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical field reimbursement, patient access services, HUB services, specialty pharmacy, or market access support roles.
β’ Deep understanding of payer dynamics, reimbursement pathways, prior authorization processes, and specialty pharmacy distribution models.
β’ Experience with HUB systems, case management platforms, and specialty pharmacy data feeds.
β’ Proven ability to resolve complex access and reimbursement cases in a field-based or customer-facing context.
β’ Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical access data sources and processes, including claims, benefit verification, SP reporting, and payer policy tracking.
β’ Proficient in CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
β’ Willingness to travel throughout the designated Pacific Coast territory.
β’ The ideal candidate should reside within the territory and within a 100-mile radius of a major commercial airport.
