This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Proactively identify and resolve barriers to patient access related to payer coverage, prior authorization, step edits, copay assistance, and specialty pharmacy routing.
β’ Collaborate with healthcare provider (HCP) offices to verify benefits, understand payer documentation requirements, and provide patient support resources.
β’ Analyze data from HUBs, specialty pharmacies, and payers to pinpoint systemic access gaps and implement compliant process enhancements.
β’ Deliver approved access education to internal stakeholders while ensuring that patient-specific or account-specific case information is not shared with the Sales team.
β’ Work in partnership with Market Access, Patient Services, and HUB vendors to enhance pull-through efficiency and address recurring access challenges.
β’ Assist in launch readiness and lifecycle management by identifying access barriers and executing field-based strategies for mitigation.
β’ Monitor key access performance metrics and translate findings into actionable plans.
β’ Manage escalations related to high-priority reimbursement and payer cases.
β’ Conduct monitoring of the regional payer landscape.
β’ Provide structured field insights to guide access strategies, HUB optimization, and enhancements to patient support.
β’ Ensure compliant documentation of case activities, interventions, and outcomes within CRM systems.
β’ Connect access strategy with field execution.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in business, life sciences, healthcare administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred but not mandatory).
β’ Over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical field reimbursement, patient access services, HUB services, specialty pharmacy, or market access support roles.
β’ In-depth understanding of payer dynamics, reimbursement pathways, prior authorization workflows, and specialty pharmacy distribution models.
β’ Experience with HUB systems, case management platforms, and data feeds from specialty pharmacies.
β’ Proven ability to resolve complex access and reimbursement cases in a field-based or customer-facing capacity.
β’ Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical access data sources and processes, including claims, benefit verification, SP reporting, and payer policy tracking.
β’ Proficient in CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
β’ Capable of functioning in a fast-paced launch or high-growth commercial environment with competing priorities.
