This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
β’ Proactively identify and resolve patient access obstacles related to payer coverage, prior authorization, step edits, copay assistance, and specialty pharmacy routing.
β’ Collaborate with healthcare provider (HCP) offices to facilitate benefits verification and educate them on payer documentation requirements and available patient support resources.
β’ Analyze and interpret data from HUBs, specialty pharmacies, and payers to pinpoint systemic access gaps and implement compliance-approved process enhancements or access education.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert in field access, delivering approved access education to internal stakeholders.
β’ Work together with Market Access, Patient Services, and HUB vendors to enhance pull-through efficiency and address recurring access challenges.
β’ Aid in launch readiness and lifecycle management by identifying access barriers early and implementing field-based mitigation strategies.
β’ Monitor access performance metrics and convert insights into actionable plans.
β’ Handle high-priority case escalations involving intricate reimbursement or payer concerns.
β’ Conduct regional payer landscape assessments and detect policy modifications or coverage changes that affect patient access.
β’ Provide structured field insights to cross-functional partners to shape access strategies, optimize HUB performance, and enhance patient support programs.
β’ Ensure compliant and accurate documentation of case activities, interventions, and outcomes within CRM systems.
β’ Connect access strategies with field execution to guarantee effective implementation in real-world settings.
β’ Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, healthcare administration, or a related field (advanced degree is preferred but not mandatory).
β’ Over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical field reimbursement, patient access services, HUB services, specialty pharmacy, or market access support roles.
β’ In-depth understanding of payer dynamics, reimbursement pathways, prior authorization processes, and specialty pharmacy distribution models.
β’ Experience utilizing HUB systems, case management platforms, and specialty pharmacy data feeds.
β’ Proven capability to resolve complex access and reimbursement issues in a field-based or customer-facing capacity.
β’ Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical access data sources and processes, including claims, benefit verification, specialty pharmacy reporting, and payer policy tracking.
β’ Proficient with CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced launch or high-growth commercial environment with competing priorities.
