This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
β’ Oversee the flow of information for both digital and print publications related to the Festival.
β’ Collect, manage, and verify information for the Sundance Film Festival's print and digital publications.
β’ Input data into the database following precise standards.
β’ Liaise with interdepartmental stakeholders regarding database updates and provide troubleshooting assistance.
β’ Review final publications to confirm they align with the database and comply with the Institute's house style.
β’ Edit and fact-check publications and documents as required.
β’ Generate reports from the database as necessary.
β’ Collaborate with the Festival Manager, Editors, and year-round Institute personnel on publishing-related tasks.
β’ Commit to extended hours, including evenings and weekends, during critical periods to meet deadlines and address on-call requirements.
β’ Legal authorization to work in the United States.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience with databases, data entry, publications, proofreading, project management, or a related field.
β’ Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
β’ Strong organizational abilities and capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
β’ Capability to handle confidential information with discretion.
β’ Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to review work meticulously to prevent errors and ensure accurate task execution.
β’ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
β’ Experience in copyediting and familiarity with The Associated Press Stylebook.
β’ Proficiency in Airtable and Google Drive.
β’ Knowledge of HTML is an advantage.
