This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• Act as the main point of contact and advisor to various clients for software implementation and enhancement projects, which may range from two weeks to ongoing initiatives.
• Oversee project scope, budget, and go-live schedules, anticipating potential issues and facilitating collaborative solutions that maintain both the timeline and budget.
• Proactively identify and document risks related to execution, clients, and resources, while establishing and managing plans for mitigation and avoidance.
• Take responsibility for resolving all project issues, conflicts, and decisions successfully, while maximizing positive outcomes for clients.
• Regularly engage with clients to manage expectations and communicate ongoing progress.
• Hold financial accountability for the project, including planning, budgeting, reporting, and forecasting resource costs, ensuring that project performance is accurately represented in revenue recognition.
• Collaborate with delivery leaders to manage team resource allocation, aligning skill sets with client requirements and ensuring teams possess the necessary skills for independent operation.
• Work closely with the Client Success and Sales teams to foster growth and retention of client accounts while overseeing the scope of existing implementations.
• Support the Sales and Client Success teams in responding to Requests for Proposal and defining new professional services projects.
• Collaborate with the Product Engineering team on necessary integrations and enhancements to fulfill the scope of work.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 4 years in technology project management is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in client-facing project management roles is essential.
• Must possess an Active Public Trust Security Clearance (or higher), or be able to successfully pass a PTSC background check.
• Experience in client projects within one or more of the following sectors: emergency management; federal, state, or local government; healthcare; education; defense; aviation; or transportation.
• PMP or similar project management certifications are advantageous; if selected, you will be required to obtain PMP certification within 12 months of your hire date.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills are a must.
• Strong understanding of project financial management and executive-level reporting.
• Highly skilled in clarifying, documenting, and mediating the resolution of issues and conflicts.
• Proven ability to identify and manage project risks, including implementing risk mitigation and contingency plans.
• Situational Leadership skills are preferred.
• Excellent capacity to manage stress and prioritize competing priorities and changing deadlines.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time to client or internal company locations is required.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
• Must qualify as a “U.S. Person” or be otherwise eligible to access EAR-covered materials through an EAR exception or license.
• May be required to undergo an SF-85 background check for certain government-related projects.
