This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Design solutions that encompass hardware, software, services, as-a-service offerings, and third-party components.

• Create and present customer proposals that fulfill both business and technical requirements.

• Offer technical expertise to sales teams and clients through engaging presentations and demonstrations.

• Exhibit proficiency in solution areas, products, services, customer settings, and business demands.

• Assess business challenges, highlight business value, and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of solutions.

• Convert outcome-driven solutions into scalable functional and technical designs.

• Monitor emerging technologies and integrate industry and customer technology trends.

• Contribute to industry advancement through conferences, presentations, demonstrations, booth support, and events.

• Collect and utilize competitive intelligence for account support.

• Lead account business planning and formulate customer technical strategies.

• Engage in in-depth discussions and cultivate customer relationships with executives.

• Generate comparative analyses of different solution strategies.

• Develop, configure, and optimize workload solutions while balancing cost, scope, scale, and benefits.

• Utilize partner products and services while transferring knowledge to external partners.

• Build a pipeline by identifying enhancements, unmet needs, and opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

• Monitor and nurture active deals from opportunity to closure.

• Attend sales forecast meetings and assist in expediting the sales lifecycle.

• Document sales-cycle activities using designated tools and disseminate best practices.

• Mentor junior team members and share expertise with colleagues.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US citizen.

• 50% or more travel required.

• Over 6 years of experience working with or supporting the Federal Sector in DOD.

• At least 6 years of technical IT experience focused on technical consulting and solution selling.

• Practical experience in system and network administration, data center operations, and enterprise infrastructure management.

• Capability to architect, configure, and demonstrate solutions that meet DoD mission requirements.

• Proven ability to balance technical rigor with practical implementation.

• First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications.

• Extensive experience in leading solution configurations and creating demos and proofs-of-concept.

• Deep understanding of company products, software, services, solution domains, and ecosystem combinations.

• Strong ability to translate aaS, ecosystems, value propositions, solutions, and workloads into customer outcomes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in English and relevant local languages as necessary.

• Strong business and financial acumen, including knowledge of sales cycles, pipeline growth, reporting, business strategy, TCO/ROI, and financial models.

• Advanced consultative/value selling skills, including whiteboarding, objection handling, and closing techniques.

• In-depth knowledge of company business, technical tools, and CRM systems.

• Strong resource management skills.

• Practical experience with relevant products, solutions, tools, or services.

• Ability to design demonstration and walkthrough playbooks.

• Capability to deliver live demonstrations and walkthroughs.

• Advanced project and time management knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills, and due diligence.

• Profound knowledge of partner offerings and go-to-market strategies.

• Strong skills in strategic planning and account planning.

• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and project management methodologies/certifications is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Advanced degree in technology is preferred.
