This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
• Design and implement solutions that encompass hardware, software, services, as-a-service offerings, and third-party components.
• Create and evaluate customer proposals that align with business and technical requirements.
• Offer technical guidance to sales teams and clients through presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
• Assess business challenges, articulate business value, and analyze solution advantages and limitations.
• Convert outcome-based solutions into functional designs and scalable technical architectures.
• Monitor emerging technologies and integrate industry trends into solutions.
• Contribute to industry advancement through participation in conferences, presentations, demonstrations, booth support, and events.
• Collect and utilize competitive intelligence to assist accounts.
• Lead account business planning and facilitate customer transformation strategies.
• Engage in in-depth discussions and cultivate relationships with customer stakeholders and executives.
• Generate comparative analyses of various approaches.
• Develop, configure, and optimize workload solutions.
• Utilize partner products and services while transferring knowledge to external partners.
• Build account pipeline through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying unmet customer needs.
• Oversee active deals from opportunity identification to closure and engage in sales forecasting.
• Document sales-cycle activities using designated tools and disseminate best practices.
• Share expertise with colleagues and mentor junior team members.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience working with or supporting the Federal Sector in the Department of Defense (DoD).
• Over 6 years of technical IT experience with a focus on technical consulting and solution selling.
• Practical experience in system and network administration, data center operations, and enterprise infrastructure management.
• Capability to architect, configure, and present solutions that fulfill DoD mission requirements.
• Proven ability to balance technical rigor with practical application.
• A first-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication in English and relevant local languages as necessary.
• Strong business and financial acumen, encompassing sales cycles, pipeline growth, reporting, business strategy, TCO/ROI concepts, and financial models.
• Advanced consultative/value selling skills, including whiteboarding, objection handling, and closing techniques.
• Extensive knowledge of company business, technical tools, and CRM systems.
• Advanced skills in resource, project, and time management.
• Direct experience with relevant products, solutions, tools, or services.
• Ability to design demonstration playbooks and conduct live demonstrations or walkthroughs.
• In-depth knowledge of partner offerings and go-to-market strategies.
• Advanced skills in strategic planning and account management.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and project management methodologies/certifications is beneficial but not mandatory.
• An advanced degree in technology is preferred.
