This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.
• Lead the most probable build commitments by balancing demand, manufacturing constraints, and capabilities of contract manufacturers (CM) while proactively identifying potential supply risks.
• Oversee and drive the execution of weekly factory build schedules, ensuring that actual deliveries align with committed plans and meet on-time delivery (OTD) targets.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, Global Supply Chain, Inventory Control Planners, and CM partners to ensure plan feasibility and successful implementation.
• Monitor CM capacity, identify gaps, and aid in the development of mitigation strategies to address production constraints.
• Work alongside Inventory Control Planners to balance raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory while minimizing shortages, overstock, and aging inventory.
• Utilize AI, analytics, and automation tools to enhance planning efficiency, conduct scenario analyses, and assess predictive risks.
• Identify and promote automation opportunities through digital tools, robotic process automation (RPA), or intelligent technologies.
• Continuously enhance planning processes and support initiatives aimed at supply chain digitalization.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field of experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in factory planning, production planning, or supply chain management within a regional or global manufacturing environment.
• A solid understanding of factory operations, capacity planning, and manufacturing execution in a CM-based model.
• Practical experience with AI, advanced analytics, automation, or digital tools in operational or supply chain roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external contract manufacturing partners.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly changing environment while adapting to new technologies.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English, including the capacity to present data-driven insights.
