This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Review outstanding customer orders, transfers, routes, carrier deadlines, and order priorities.
• Create and release picking waves in accordance with the warehouse's daily fulfillment schedule.
• Ensure orders are allocated to the appropriate facility, inventory location, picking zone, and fulfillment method.
• Prioritize same-day orders, customer deliveries, intercompany transfers, carrier shipments, and other urgent orders.
• Monitor wave progress, including unstarted, partially completed, short, held, and finalized orders.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors when orders are delayed or need immediate attention.
• Modify, re-release, or cancel waves as operational priorities shift.
• Prevent duplicate waves, missed orders, and incorrect-location releases.
• Verify that eligible orders are released and completed prior to daily cutoff times.
• Maintain a daily log of unresolved fulfillment issues and communicate these during shift handover.
• Prepare and distribute daily fulfillment, same-day performance, short-ship, hold, wave productivity, and other management reports.
• Ensure reports highlight exceptions, responsible departments, required actions, and unresolved issues.
• Assess shorted and partially fulfilled orders to identify root causes.
• Check alternate bins, overstock locations, and other facilities as necessary.
• Relay actionable shortages to warehouse, inventory, purchasing, and customer service teams.
• Monitor recurring short-shipped items and identify patterns for corrective action.
• Escalate orders that may miss customer or carrier deadlines and follow up until resolved or assigned.
• Execute WMS operational tasks, including order review, wave maintenance, allocation review, hold management, and exception monitoring.
• Assist users with basic WMS inquiries and workflow challenges.
• Document system errors and provide examples to internal IT or application support.
• Test approved WMS process changes and verify expected outcomes.
• Maintain WMS procedures, report definitions, and user instructions.
• Identify enhancements to wave logic, prioritization, reporting, and warehouse workflows.
• Support WMS processes related to inventory, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and transfers.
• Communicate urgent issues through Microsoft Teams, email, or the designated operating channel.
• Maintain precise documentation and participate in daily operational check-ins when necessary.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in using a Warehouse Management System within a distribution or fulfillment setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
• Experience in planning, releasing, or monitoring picking waves.
• Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including the use of filters, lookups, pivot tables, and basic data analysis.
• Capability to analyze operational data and identify exceptions or recurring issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying closely connected to warehouse operations.
• Reliable internet connection and a professional remote workspace.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Körber/HighJump WMS or a comparable warehouse management system.
• Preferred: Experience supporting a high-volume wholesale, grocery, convenience-store, or consumer-products distributor.
• Preferred: Understanding of order allocation, inventory holds, replenishment, intercompany transfers, carrier cutoffs, and short-shipment analysis.
• Preferred: Experience in creating automated or recurring fulfillment reports.
• Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Teams, Excel, and warehouse reporting tools.
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of documenting and troubleshooting WMS issues.
• Must be online and responsive during assigned Texas warehouse operating hours.
• Must be available during critical order-release and carrier-cutoff periods.
• Must work Monday through Friday and Saturday for 4 hours (half-day).
