Facility Claims Biller – Black Lung Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver TruBridge services to clients

• Oversee daily operations of a hospital's UB-04 or a clinic's CMS-1500 business office

• Manage patient billing and collections, third-party payer interactions, and/or insurance claims preparation

• Supervise business office activities and staff, including patient billing, credit and collections, and data entry

• Suggest new procedures and modifications to existing processes

• Establish controls for proper submission, billing, credit, and collections

• Follow up on third-party approvals, billing, and overdue account collections

• Ensure precise and timely billing in line with established protocols and third-party requirements

• Achieve production and quality assurance benchmarks

• Uphold high standards of customer service in accordance with company and client policies

• Engage in educational opportunities provided by the company

• Safeguard confidential customer information

• Handle miscellaneous paperwork and perform administrative tasks

• Collaborate with high-profile clients and navigate complex processes

• Support team initiatives

• Aid the manager in coaching, training, disciplinary actions, and follow-up on action plans

• Ensure employee adherence to dress code, attendance, and other company policies

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hospital billing experience, including processing Institutional and Profee claims

• Experience handling Claims and Denial Queues

• Practical experience with "Black Lung" claims processing

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities

• Detail-oriented with the capability to see issues through to resolution

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

• High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required

• Exceptional critical thinking, organizational, and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-up
