This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Provide technical guidance across PreFAB, Manufacturing, Site Ready Scheduling, and upcoming Fabrication Systems applications.
• Convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions, establishing solution architecture, integration methods, and system design standards.
• Act as the technical lead for intricate initiatives across business, development, QA, documentation, and analytics teams.
• Identify technical risks and formulate strategies for mitigation.
• Oversee the assessment, design, and execution of AI solutions and intelligent automation projects.
• Transform business needs into technically actionable solution paths.
• Translate approved solution strategies into development-ready specifications, acceptance criteria, and implementation guidelines.
• Set standards for APIs, integrations, database design, and system interoperability.
• Assist with Project Unite integration efforts and ensure alignment with enterprise platforms.
• Offer technical mentorship and guidance to developers and contractors; engage in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical evaluations.
• Review solution designs and assist in resolving complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with QA on testing strategies and confirm solution readiness prior to deployment.
• Aid in root cause analysis and the planning of corrective actions.
• Work with analytics teams on data architecture, governance, and scalable reporting solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, project oversight, and direction without initially acting as a direct people manager.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or technical solution leadership.
• Proficient in designing enterprise applications and integrations.
• Strong grasp of application architecture, APIs, databases, and cloud technologies.
• Experience leading software projects from requirements gathering through to deployment.
• Demonstrated ability to influence technical teams without direct authority.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, coupled with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Capability to convert business needs into technical execution strategies.
• Familiarity with low-code platforms; Mendix is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or industrial software.
• Background in AI/ML solution design and implementation.
• Expertise in data architecture and analytics platforms.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
