
External Development – Vendor Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee vendor and partner relationships that support titles through localization, co-development/porting, and quality assurance.
• Manage a network of external partners providing localization, porting/co-development, QA, and publishing services.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors.
• Negotiate rates, terms, and contract details with vendors and partners.
• Prepare and review Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and quotes.
• Address Producer requests, define scope requirements, and arrange SOWs/quotes.
• Monitor vendor budgets, purchase orders, and invoicing; highlight budget variances.
• Maintain records of vendor capacity, specialties, rate cards, and performance history.
• Assess vendor quality and delivery performance; handle issue escalation and resolution.
• Coordinate submission and certification requirements specific to platform-related porting/co-development.
• Track contract renewals, amendments, and expirations.
• Develop and sustain documentation, templates, and tools for vendor onboarding, contracting, and engagement tracking.
• Collaborate across departments including Production, Finance/Accounting, Marketing, Producers, and QA leads.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor/partner management, publishing operations, production, or business affairs within the video game sector.
• Proven experience in negotiating and managing vendor contracts, SOWs, and quotes.
• Familiarity with game localization workflows and QA vendor engagement models.
• Strong skills in negotiation, organization, and project management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient relationship management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, while navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities comfortably.
• Proficient in contract/SOW documentation, spreadsheets, and project tracking tools.
• Established relationships with localization, porting/co-development, or QA vendors in the gaming industry.
• Experience with platform partner programs such as PlayStation Partners, Xbox ID@Xbox/Partner, and Nintendo Developer Portal.
• Background in working with indie game developers.
