Expert, Sales – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the research team in comprehending the practical execution of sales work.

• Develop realistic sales tasks that qualified professionals can address, which current AI models often misinterpret.

• Compile evidence files from various scenarios, including CRM exports, pipeline and forecast reports, email threads, proposals, order forms, renewal schedules, and pricing approvals.

• Draft task requests that specify deliverables and address uncertainty and assumptions.

• Execute tasks from start to finish and document reference solutions with logical reasoning.

• Establish precise scoring criteria that include acceptable alternatives and authorization limits.

• Evaluate personal and colleagues' tasks for accuracy and clarity.

• Integrate reviewer feedback within agreed-upon turnaround times and identify guideline gaps or exceptional cases.

• Clarify sales processes, documents, responsibilities, and points of failure to the research team.

• Review scenarios and documents created by researchers for practical realism.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in at least one relevant sales domain: new business sales, account management/renewals/expansion, or pricing/deal desk.

• Experience carrying a quota or directly managing the process; overseeing individuals who did is not adequate.

• Proficient understanding of relevant methods, rules, and systems, such as MEDDICC or SPICED, forecast categories, renewal and expansion playbooks, discount approval matrices, and non-standard terms.

• Strong skills in spreadsheet applications.

• Capability to reconcile pipeline, quota, and pricing figures with their original sources.

• Ability to write clearly and precisely in professional English.

• Capability to work independently and asynchronously while meeting deadlines.

• Previous experience in AI evaluation, exam questions, case studies, or training materials is a plus.

• Familiarity with common AI model failures is advantageous.

• Must deliver human-authored, original work and refrain from using real or confidential data.
