Experienced Medical Interpreter, Russian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate precise communication between speakers of English and non-English languages during calls.

• Professionally handle calls, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Maintain readiness to take notes throughout the duration of a call.

• Accurately convey all messages in their entirety, without any additions, omissions, or substitutions.

• Deliver exceptional customer service during the interpreting process.

• Support communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients through accurate interpretation of messages.

• Apply established standards of practice in all interpreting tasks.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Show enthusiasm for obtaining new professional certifications.

• Communicate and provide updates to your team leader.

• Adhere to the dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Security Clearance (assistance will be provided if not currently available).

• Must possess either Citizenship or a Green Card.

• Proficient in English and a native speaker of the target language, "Russian."

• A minimum of 1 year of telephone interpretation experience with a reputable interpretation company.

• Solid understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is advantageous.

• International certifications in the healthcare field are a plus (such as PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Possess high emotional intelligence and an appreciation for diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.

• Technical specifications for computer compliance: Dedicated high-speed, private, and secure internet connection; Minimum Windows 10 operating system; wired internet; noise-cancelling wired headset with a microphone.
